This song by John Bell rolls around my head on a frequent basis - and that is a good thing. I know it so well, and the melody, that I can get "past the words" and go to a deeper place. That, of course, is one of the whole reasons for contemplative Taize style music. To get past the words - not to ignore them, but allow them to sink deeper and deeper into your being.

Food for the good of the soul indeed.

This Sunday will we be beginning a new season of DNSS. Our first topic is Communion, The Lord's Supper, the Eucharist, the Love Feast, and all the other names it might be known by.

Come and join us at 9:00. Please bring your Bible.

New look

If you found yourself in this section of our website, you will have noticed that things are changing. The GOW (squarespace) website is a year old now. Time to dust off the design, clean it up, and hopefully make it more navigable.

Similar to the arrangement of one's living room, I will be shuffling the elements around over the next week or so. Stay tuned.

Oh, and on that note - DNSS will be starting again on Sept. 14, 9:00 A.M. Details to come.

Greetings all, sorry for the last minute post... but just to let everyone know that DNSS is now on its summer break.

Things have been a little slow around the old DNSS blog (as summer approaches) - but just wanted to alert people that there will be one more DNSS before the sumer break. James Krahn will leading us in one more Brain Science session. I am excited to be able to attend, as I have been busy with the baptism classes these last few weeks.

So I'll see you there, Sunday June 28th, 9:00 A.M. - in the prayer space (down the hall from our worship space).

And just to let you know, I held back from saying "and even more B.S." (Brain Science) - people might get the wrong idea.
